Wrestlemania disappointment

No review on Amazing race today, I was foolish enough to plunk down my money for Wrestlemania 26 and boy do wish I had stuck with the Amazing Race. This year’s Wrestlemania had one good match in four hours and that’s pretty poor. If they can’t come up with a better card than this next year, I’m saving my money and skipping it. I’m not going to go in depth on the match but will make some general comment on each and I don’t really have anything positive to say about much of it.

TNA moves to Monday!

It was TNA wrestling’s big night with the move to Monday so I decided to check out what the new kids on the block had to offer because let’s face it RAW has been less than compelling lately. I taped Vince’s show and haven’t watched it yet to see how they countered but I must say TNA came out of the gate strong with their first show. I’m not going to go in depth but I’m going to comment on each the matches

Monday Night RAW post game

As I looked at my notes that took from Monday’s Raw, I was surprised by how little happened compared to the TNA show. Two big things did happen and that’s why everybody tuned in. Bret Hart had a show down with Shawn Michaels and then at the end of RAW had one with Vince McMahon. I’m not going to go as in depth with RAW show because frankly not that much happened.

TNA wrestling post game

The biggest night in wrestling in a long, long time did not disappoint. So much happened on both TNA Impact Zone and RAW, there is no way I can cover it in one post. Since TNA kicked the night off first at 7 PM. I am going to start with them and cover RAW in the next post. TNA's big promotional push and jump to Monday night has centered around that fact that Hulk Hogan is coming and he’s coming not alone. This was quickly proved even before the show officially started so let’s take a look at what happened.

The Wrestler - review with Spoilers

I finally saw the The Wrestler on cable. I must say from my knowledge of the sport it is a very authentic look at the underbelly of the business. The camera work alone makes it worth seeing it; many times the shot is from behind the massive Randy The Ramjet the star of this played by Mickey Rouke. This makes you feel the weight of his world that he is a carrying, and what he has lost. I highly recommend this film is you have not seen it yet.
