A short musical interlude and a few more words from our Sponsor
Sunday, November 8, 2009 at 11:00AM You know the internet for all it's faults sometimes can be a magical place and you guys get a musical treat because of that. But before that our sponsor forgot to mention a couple of things in the last two posts. First and foremost this blog would not be possible without Sarah Lane.
- It was one Ms Sarah Lane who pointed me in the direction of Squarespace by mentioning it on her pod cast "This Week In Fun" that she had built her site with it. After looking at her site and deciding it looked great, I decided to use Squarespace sometime in the future. Although I was sacred to actually dive in and do this, if there is one thing I do trust is tech advice from Sarah Lane. So thank you again Sarah.
- The other thing we forgot to mention is in our sponsors post is how much we love Taylor Swift and her sappy love songs. I hope you caught her appearance on SNL last night, but if you didn't, do a Google search for an Andy Samberg Digital short with her called Firelight making fun of Twilight but substituting Frankenstein's monsters for the vampires. I would post a link but it just happened last night and things on the internet have a habit of moving around especially if they have been posted without permission. Go look for that and laugh.
- Which brings us to our musical section but I thought I'd tell you the path to how a found it. I had asked a friend who I trust for advice on blogging via the Mac on facebook. He anwsered but also sent a page suggestion to me to Sarah Lane's facebook fan page that I hadn't joined for some reason. Which lead me to a her post on Current.com asking for jokes to cheer her up, which lead me to join current and post a joke. I then clicked on her twitter page updates which lead me to click though to a site called blip.fm that you can DJ songs for your friends and listen to a song she posted. While listening to that really obscene song Ms. Lane, I wondered if one of the thousands of song they claimed was on their site was any by Tonks and the Aurors. Well what do you know?, There was which lead me to a you tube post of a song I mentioned in my first post about Tonks. Simple Right? So ladies and gentlemen with out further adieu I present ... Tonks and the Aurors doing "Aim for the Head.
Wonderful wasn't? I added it to the earlier story.
I hope you enjoyed that. I would like to say thanks to all those who have encouraged me, and we now return you to your regularly scheduled blog
