Tweet your weight?

Tweet your weight? Are you serious? This is about as good an invention as the square wheel.

Okay, this is the kind of technology that Analog stands firmly against. We may fear new technology because it makes us feel stupid, but we also don’t like to see technology made stupid.

Who invented this? Certainly no one with a weight problem! Mr. Analog has struggled with his weight all his life. The only thing he can think of that’s worse than finding out how much he weighs is sharing that with the entire world on twitter.

And how about you ladies? Do you really want someone in Sydney, Australia to know that you gained 5 pounds in two weeks when you’re in Columbus, Ohio? Mr Analog doesn’t want his weight known either.
Does your partner know your “exact” weight? Tyra Banks won’t even let her boyfriend see her hair getting extensions, and that is “fake” hair.  Don’t talk to me about my hair, it’s gone. We are talking real body mass here.

We are all for sharing, but this is too much information. Some things should remain private.
