Where Mr. Analog shops on the Internet.

Mr. Analog has a exciting but rough week. He wasn’t sure where the train was going anymore because there is only one conductor (writer) just now. And some Newsarama readers who weren’t fond of meeting him had run off with his remaining coal. All he had left was a story about Roddy Piper.

Badly in need of a refuel. Mr. Analog decided to take a day off and seek refuge in the safety of the train station (or the comic book show) while seeing if this voyage would continue. He was depressed and not sure what to do next.

But he forgot, he had a lot of friends at the comic show, and then met some new ones...

First and foremost among these friends is Twilight Comics

This where Mr. Analog has gotten his comics since 1993. Brian the shop’s owner has put up with Mr. Analog’s antics for a long time. He’s even allowed him to hang around for hours at the store during this unemployment.

If you are looking the best place to get back issues, action figures, or this weeks comics, you can’t beat it. Plus, they have provided his best friend Tim’s employment for as long as he can remember. Should you be needing any of the above, contact Tim via e-mail at Tim@twilightcomics.com and tell him Mr. Analog sent you. I guarantee, he will take good care of you. He’s there everyday, but Thursday and Sunday.

Next up is Dave of Main Street Music

Dave was nice enough to look over some Mr. Analog’s magic card collection and give him the honest appraisal of what is worth. Which is quite comforting to know, since we’ve talked about Mr. Analog’s obsolescence in the work force. If you are looking for a place to sell your big ticket Magic cards, and get a fair price. Or perhaps buy a Mox or Lotus. Talk to Dave, he may not have it, but he’ll see what he can do. He also has Music CDs and cassettes. Mr Analog was very happy to see 10,000 Maniacs at the top the list of stocked items. Rumor has it that Natalie Merchant and Mr. Analog are close. But He’ll just say “no comment.” Dave has toys and RPGs too.

Then we go to Spike of that thatlostinspaceguy eBay store.

Now if you are looking for that hard to find impossible items from your childhood. Like that lunch box mom threw out, or favorite toy you broke as child. Spike can probably find it. His ebay store has over 1500 auctions up currently.

Spike is amazing at finding things that I didn’t even know existed from our childhood. Like today, some one brought in some Superbabies of Wonder Woman and Superman to sell to him. These aren’t even on e-bay, and Mr Analog has never seen them before or even knew they existed. So if you can’t find it, try Spike. If he can’t find, it doesn’t exist.

Mr. Analog made a few new friends today.

Among them is Josh at Missouricomics.com.

They have just opened their new store upgrading from an eBay store front. And he was so nice to Mr. Analog that he even offered to put a banner for this website on his site. Which reminded Mr Analog, I still need to do that. Too busy writing to actually design. Plus, anyone who doesn’t want to kill Mr. Analog upon meeting him is okay with us. Did I mention the folks who hate him already on Newsarama? Josh will have their expanded website up soon so until them look for them on eBay as user wileycoyote373.

Finally is new friend Rob from Mounds City Auctions

They just has one of the most successful comic auctions in awhile. You can read about here. They are looking for consignment items for their next auction. If you have a valuable comic you have been sitting on, and we are not talking that crap issue of Stormwatch. We are talking the good stuff like your slabbed Amazing Fantasy#15. Rob is sending me a press release on guidelines for submissions for the next auction. I will post them here soon. He also offered to help with finding advertising for this website. You think I know where to start? I am Mr. Analog.

So please check out these great friends new and old. Permanent links to these will be on the side of the website sometime this evening. Did I mention I am the only writer, designer and promoter of this site?

Mr. Analog is learning to network, finally. Looks like the train as got more fuel and pulling out the station again. Hop aboard with some new friends and see where we end up.
